Okay kids, here is my incredibly short Frantic Friday post. I didn’t do much this week due to the fact that I am getting ready to move. I also spent quite a bit of time watching the Rockies and Twins. That’s right my two teams finally played each other. I didn't know who i should root for all week. Very stressful.
As far as the book goes, I think I only got a total of ten pages done all week. Sorry to disappoint anyone that actually reads this thing. Hope you all had a better week than I did.

Frantic Friday - Books and Baseball Tattos

I am starting out this post with an apology. I am getting ready to move so I am not going to be posting or writing much for about a month. Bear with me I will get back to it. When I do I will hopefully have some teasers for you about the book. Right now it is just too new and undeveloped to send anything out into the world.

I only got to page 82 this week, pathetic I know. Please forgive me like I said I am having some crazy stuff going on right now. I promise after the move is over I will get back to work.

The next thing that I am going to share is the exciting thing that I added to my body this last week. I got an amazing tattoo on Sunday night. It is a baseball. With two crossed bats behind it. I love it. I am a bit of an impulse person on occasion, but this impulse turned out to be fabulous. Joe and I went to the gym like we do every Sunday evening. While on the treadmill I told him I wanted to see if the tattoo parlor down from our house had any cool baseball designs. I have done this in the past but never pulled the plug on getting one. While we were in there the artist drew mine up for me. I fell in love with it. The only difference between the one that he drew for me and the one I got was the Colorado Rockies symbol on the ball. I loved the CR for the Rockies but Joe talked me out of getting it put on there. Telling me that when and if Brice starts playing I should get a little Hammer put in the ball.

I got the tattoo on the back of my right lower calf. I was going to get it on my ankle but didn’t want to be the typical girl that gets one there.

If anyone questioned my crazy obsession with the sport before they better not any more. The tattoo didn’t hurt that bad but it will be there the rest of my life, just like my love for the sport.

"I hated to bat against Drysdale. After he hit you he'd come around, look at the bruise on your arm and say, 'Do you want me to sign it?" ~ Mickey Mantle

Frantic Friday

Okay so I decided that I am going to post every Friday what I have accomplished for the week, on the book front.
In the last seven days I have not really gotten as much done as I had hoped. My goal is for 10 pages a day. Unfortunately in the last 7 days I only was averaging about 4.5 pages a day. How am I ever going to finish at only 4.5 pages a day you ask? Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Then I remember, hey there was a holiday weekend in the last 7 days. So I re-figured what average was. 8.25 pages per day were what I came up with from Tuesday to today.
Now I don’t feel so bad. All things considered I think I am doing okay. Tomorrow is my Brice’s birthday so I have not only been doing all of my daily craziness I am also arranging his party. I really hope that I have more to report next week. Maybe I will actually hit my ten pages of work a day goal.

Free Help?

OK folks here we go. Actually right now I only have one follower so maybe I should say something like, Ok Heidi here we go. Its Thursday, I am totally new at this and am not sure exactly what I should write but here goes.
I finally got to page 70 in my book. YAY ME!!! I know I am a total dork but 70 pages was my goal for last week and I didn’t reach it. I am giving myself a break because there was a holiday weekend in there but in my own head I know that wasn’t the problem it was because I was totally lazy this last weekend.
Well in need help on something my book has no name yet. Like I mentioned in my about me area it is a romance novel about a baseball player and a young mom. I don’t want to say too much yet but I am looking for name suggestion. If anyone falls on to my crazy blog and has any FREE idea’s let me know. PS I will not be paying anything for any suggestions. If I am by some miracle published I will mention you in my acknowledgment page but do not sue me if I take your suggestion, that is just a risk you will have to take.
